Ryan Boeckman - A Middle School educator for the last 17 years. He strives to keep his students curious about the world and asking questions as well as seeking answers to those questions.

Ryan is a recent St. Louis Science Center Loeb prize winner for excellence in teaching Science and Mathematics. In all of his classes, he incorporates Passion Driven, MakerSpace, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Communication, Web Literacy, and Collaboration skills into the curriculum.

Ryan also serves on the planning committee for EdcampSTL, the board for EdcampMagic and he is a co-host of an educational podcast called “My Disney Class”  with Dr. Howie DiBlasi. He currently has a new book out called, “Designing Disney Inspired Classrooms. Turning Your Classroom into a Magic Kingdom.” Ryan loves to communicate through social media, blogs, newsletters, podcasts, and visual media with resources, stories, and strategies about how to make classrooms magic. His goal is to build a celebratory community of educators who are committed to bringing innovation, creativity, making, storytelling, and magic into their learning environments.






Danyele Easterhaus- An Executive Director of Student Impact of Westfield, where she has been involved since 2005, first as a mentor and volunteer, and later on the Board of Directors, before becoming Executive Director in 2011. Student Impact serves students in 5th-12th grades in the Westfield area, providing a safe and consistent place for Westfield students to gather and learn. Student Impact builds relationships to develop student leaders who help raise up followers of Christ, create a positive and inclusive Christian atmosphere, and foster a healing community.
Hanging out with kids and being a mentor and friend has been a constant part of her life. Knowing and understanding the need for students to have a consistent and real relationship with an adult that will be honest and loving has driven Danyele into many serving opportunities throughout the last 25 years. Mrs. Easterhaus is also currently active in her community with Westfield Police Citizens Police Academy, HCLA, leading Food Rescue for Westfield Schools, Downtown Westfield Neighborhood Association, Westfield Autism Team, The Rock of Support, The Westfield Chamber of Commerce, Co-Chairing the Westfield YES  campaign, and volunteering with Open Doors of Westfield, Westfield Welcome, as well as in her home church, Northview Westfield, as an Adult Leader.  Danyele currently serves as an elected official on the Westfield Washington Township Board, where she continues to bring a voice for students and the younger voters in the Township.
She and her husband Ryan of 19 years live in Westfield, along with their 4 girls; Paige (23), Brooke (15), Jada (13), and Sofia (10). Ryan and Danyele have foster parented many children throughout the years, as well as adopted two of their own girls, one through Private Adoption and one through Foster Care adoption. 
In her free time, she enjoys down-time by being on a beach with her family, replacing the sound of teenagers with the sound of crashing waves for a few days.

Dr. Sherry Grate-  A  superintendent of Westfield Washington Schools, the fastest growing school district in the state of Indiana. Leading a team of more than 1,000 employees in a district of nearly 8,000 students in nine schools, she has garnered praise for her energetic and collaborative leadership and communication style.
She is beginning her third year as Superintendent in Westfield.  Prior to joining Westfield Washington Schools, she served as superintendent in the DeKalb County Central United School District in northeastern Indiana for 7 years.
 An Indiana native and proud Indiana University graduate, she has been an educator for over 30 years, and has worked in rural, suburban and urban settings. She has been a classroom teacher, elementary school principal, assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction (K-12) and superintendent.
She is a founding member of the Westfield Kiwanis and is a member of the National School Public Relations Association, the American Association of School Administrators, the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents, the Midwest Suburban Superintendent Association and the Coalition of Indiana Growing and Suburban Schools.  She was named District II Superintendent of the Year in 2014.
 Dr. Grate and her husband Jay live in Westfield and have two grown children, Ryan and Paige.  






Kelli Horton - Prior to helping with the Ignite Conference, she enjoyed a successful career in television production and post-production. Kelli currently works for Sun State International Trucks in Florida where she is the Marketing & Business Development Manager. Sun State is an International brand truck dealership, as well as the official dealer for IC Bus school buses in the state of Florida. 

Julie Johnston

Julie Johnston - A visionary human that inspire people everywhere she goes to live out their dreams by guiding others to making their dream into a reality. The CEO and founder of Vision Loft . She radiates light and passion for making the world a better place.  


Pete Just-  CETL, currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for the Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township in Indianapolis, IN, where he leads as talented and dedicated team of IT professionals. Formerly a biology teacher and athletic trainer, Pete taught high school science and media for thirteen years. He began his trajectory toward technology leadership on an apple lle the media specialist let him borrow. Believing that technology held great promise for K-12 education, he pursued and received his graduate degree from Indiana University in Instructional Systems Technology, Pete earned his CETL credential in 2013. 
He has dedicated his career to the pursuit of technology initiatives that focus on the core of education- our classrooms. His mission is to seek out valuable technology trends and best educational practices and then enable the systemic changes to make them a reality for staff and students. Pete was involved in the launch of Indiana's first online school in 1999 and additional online and blended programs including the recent launch of Achieve Virtual Education Academy in 2010. With the support of his team, the MSD of Wayne Township has successfully created environments and systems to allow students to have multiple pathways to graduation enabling long-term student success. Pete is the Past Chairman of the Indiana Chief Technology Officers Council (the Indiana Chapter of CoSN) and the Chair of the CoSN 2015 Annual Conference. Pete also teaches online graduate classes in educational leadership and technology as an adjunct professor for Indiana University. Dedicated to using technology to enhance learning and opportunity, Pete is passionate about giving all students the chance to fulfill their God-given potential. He is proud of his wife, Melinda, and three children who inspire and encourage him. 


Janelle McLaughlin- an education strategist, consultant, presenter, coach, keynote speaker and trainer.  Over the years she has been a classroom teacher and district administrator. Today, Janelle is also an entrepreneur, author, a social media strategist and a tech enthusiast. These passions and experiences led her to begin her own company, Innovative Education Solutions.  She gets to utilize her teaching talents by working with leaders at all levels to make their jobs easier and more efficient while focusing on the people.

      

Laura Melling - a second grade teacher at Maple Glen Elementary School of Westfield, Indiana. While at Maple Glen she has helped pioneer two programs that have been identified as meaningful components for academic, social and emotional learning for students. The first program being a formative assessment piece to track student progress with core concepts being consistently and continuously monitored. The other program involved creating an outdoor garden and greenhouse to enhance scientific inquiry-based learning within an authentic space. Laura has a true passion for extracting her students fullest potential and understands the true meaning behind mind over matter. “If we can get through to students that they truly do matter and they genuinely feel they have what it takes to grow and learn,  then nothing can stop them.”




Carrie Rosebrock-  A curriculum administrator for the Brownsburg Community School Corporation. She is a passionate educational leader who believes teachers work best given tools that allow them to work together.  She has presented about curriculum, leadership, and literacy at several local, state, and national conferences, including the National Association for Secondary School Principals. Carrie also contributes articles to educational journals, and most recently, she has worked to co-develop, host, and produce the podcast, Audacity Rising, whose vision is to empower all women to live audacious lives.  She lives in Brownsburg, IN, with her husband Brad and two children, Grace (7) and Will (3). 


William Stein

William Stein- A visionary CETL, Director of Information Systems for the Mt.Vernon School District in Mt. Vernon, IN., CETL is the Director of Information Systems for the Mt. Vernon School. Currently, he is a sitting board member with the Hoosier Educational Computer Coordinators organization and the past president and current member of the Indiana University Partnershare Consortium. Mr. Stein has over 27 years’ experience with using technology in an educational environment to promote student learning. Additionally, he co-hosts the wildly popular monthly podcast called Control Art Delete which delves into Edtech issues in K12.







Danielle Voorhis-  A visionary educator with a passion for igniting a light in the lives of the students. She has had the privilege of teaching computers at Tipton Elementary School for 25 years. The changes that have taken place in technology over the past 25 years has taught me to be flexible, lifelong learner, and adaptive to students and technology needs. She is committed to working with students and staff to help them stay abreast to the ever-changing world and needs of technology. She is a robotic coach, an Apple certified teacher, and technology coach. She is always looking for new ways and ideas to reach her students and staff with technology.
